📋 Description

• Lead the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of learning and program experiences • Partner with Education and Program Development to design, refine, and evaluate curriculum and instructional materials • Apply instructional design best practices, including backward design, adult learning theory, and UDL • Lead pilot testing of new curricula or program models and iterate based on feedback • Build and maintain style guides, templates, and quality standards for instructional content • Develop training courses and materials with Workforce Development to support job readiness and employment outcomes • Administer, configure, and optimize Canvas LMS, including course shells, enrollment, gradebook setup, and reporting • Manage the web-based conferencing platform for live instruction, including setup, facilitator support, and troubleshooting • Evaluate and pilot emerging edtech and AI-enabled learning tools • Liaise with Canvas and conferencing vendors and internal IT regarding integrations, upgrades, and troubleshooting • Train and support program staff and facilitators in use of Canvas and the conferencing platform • Design frameworks for measuring program impact, learner outcomes, and engagement • Build dashboards and reporting tools using program and Canvas data • Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities • Align impact metrics with organizational KPIs and funder/stakeholder reporting requirements • Advise the Sr. Director of Business Operations on learning innovation and data-informed organizational strategy • Represent learning and impact priorities in cross-departmental planning and budgeting • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with instructional design methodologies and curriculum development • Hands-on experience administering Canvas LMS or a comparable learning management system • Experience with web-based conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Teams, or WebEx • Strong data analytics skills, including building reports/dashboards and translating data into actionable recommendations • Strategic and analytical thinking • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Innovative mindset with a bias toward testing, learning, and iterating • Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation communication skills • Ability to partner cross-functionally • Familiarity with AI-enabled learning tools and emerging edtech trends • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ years of experience in program development, instructional design, learning innovation, or a related field • Experience with SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred • Experience with survey or assessment platforms preferred • Experience working in a nonprofit, education, or mission-driven program environment preferred
