📋 Description

• Provide in-home infusion therapy with regular travel to and from patient residences • Administer specialty medications intravenously, subcutaneously, or through other appropriate routes • Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions for adverse reactions and complications • Conduct pre-treatment assessments and evaluate physical condition and vital signs • Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, treatment expectations, and emergency procedures • Conduct follow-up calls or visits and monitor patient progress and delayed side effects • Provide clinical feedback and collaborate on care plan adjustments • Maintain accurate infusion, medication administration, patient education, and follow-up documentation • Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy staff under the Clinical Nurse Supervisor • Prepare and handle medications according to safety, sterile-technique, infection-control, and regulatory protocols • Verify medication accuracy, including drug and dosage • Monitor and manage specialty medication and infusion-supply inventory • Support insurance verification and prior authorization processes • IgCN-certified nurses may mentor staff, support training, observe clinical practice, assess competency, and document mentorship activities

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) • College degree/certification required or equivalent experience • 2 years of RN experience required • 1 year of experience accessing PIV lines, ports, and maintaining PICC lines required • 1 year of ER/ICU/infusion experience preferred • 1 year of infusion experience in a hospital or Home Health setting preferred • Ability to multitask and frequently change direction • Valid driver's license, automobile insurance coverage, and access to a reliable automobile • Willingness to travel up to 2 hours from Scranton, PA to patients' homes • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen • Active IgCN certification required for additional IgCN mentorship responsibilities

🏖️ Benefits

• $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 paid on first paycheck; $500 paid after 90 days of employment) • $0.48 per mile mileage compensation • Travel time included in work hours and compensated hourly • Part-time schedule of 5–10+ hours per week depending on patients and availability
