📋 Description

• Receive and triage inbound calls to St. Elizabeth Physicians practices • Perform medical triage using established protocols and provide specified guidance • Schedule patient appointments as indicated by protocols • Match physician/clinician availability with patient date and time preferences using manual/computerized systems • Communicate with physicians, clinicians, staff, patients, providers, support employees, co-workers, and management regarding patient concerns and scheduling • Ensure complete and accurate information in the Electronic Health Record • Comply with scheduling and release-of-medical-information processes, including OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA requirements • Contribute to protocols, procedures, patient education, and training • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and committee functions • Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary Virtual Health teams to provide safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care • Participate in Virtual Health initiatives, including guidance on care and best practices and piloting new initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must live within 1 hour of Erlanger, KY to be considered • Active, unencumbered multistate (compact) RN nursing license issued by a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, specifically Kentucky, Indiana or Ohio • Must obtain an Ohio and Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license within 30 days of hire • Minimum: Associate Degree in Nursing • 3 years of RN Experience • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks • Knowledge of electronic Health Records – (EPIC) • Comfort in using Perfect Serve for provider messages • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn other computer skills as needed • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to affect change • Ability to perform critical analysis • Self-directed • Work well telephonically as well as face-to-face • Ability to work autonomously
