📋 Description

• Analyze BESS performance, including downtime, underperforming areas, subsystems, system behavior, availability, and capacity • Analyze KPIs such as BESS Storage Availability, Charge/Discharge Energy, RTE, and SoC • Prepare dashboards, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders • Calculate major equipment unavailability and liquidated damages, communicate findings, and reconcile with suppliers and owners • Review subcontractor monthly performance reports for accuracy • Prepare client-facing performance reports • Develop tools and automation, including Python scripts, to collect and process data for O&M and BESS plant monitoring • Flag underperforming assets in real time • Model and simulate battery degradation from aging and cycling to establish warranty terms and predict augmentation schedules • Maintain and upgrade programs to keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies • Interface with Engineering, Service, Project Execution teams, subcontractors, and clients

🎯 Requirements

• Science or Engineering degree or equivalent • Familiarity with BESS, solar energy, or power systems • Fluent in Python programming, Jupyter notebook environment, and SQL • Knowledge of AWS cloud would be an asset • Strong computer skills and in-depth familiarity with big data analysis • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative thinking skills • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to write clear, concise reports • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
