📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals • Hire, train, evaluate performance, and provide ongoing feedback to team members • Assign and prioritize work to meet service targets and deadlines • Communicate departmental policies, procedures, and strategy • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including review of internal and external reporting • Oversee billing processes and revenue completeness • Ensure liabilities, including accruals for unapproved invoices, are properly recorded • Maintain controls, documentation, and segregation of duties • Partner with internal and external audit teams • Oversee cash reconciliation and resolve discrepancies • Review and approve balance sheet account reconciliations • Support and oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition processes • Manage accounting for capitalized internal-use software • Oversee ASC 842 lease accounting • Manage prepaid expenses and amortization schedules • Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives • Partner with cross-functional teams and provide consultative stakeholder support • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and values

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience • 6–8+ years of relevant accounting experience • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting • Experience managing or leading teams • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines • Experience with Workday Financials preferred • Knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606) preferred • Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model preferred • Background in banking, fintech, or financial services preferred • Experience managing offshore or global resources preferred • Familiarity with internal-use software accounting/capitalization preferred • Knowledge of lease accounting (ASC 842) preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
