📋 Description

• Consult on complex technical accounting matters and enforce policy compliance with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors • Maintain accounting policies for assigned areas • Provide subject matter expertise on technical accounting policy and compliance issues • Assist with deal structuring to achieve desired accounting treatment • Monitor current and emerging accounting standards and assess their impact • Prepare and review accounting policies for complex transactions • Oversee and review new disclosures, including 10-K and 10-Q filings, and ensure accurate financial statement footnotes • Identify complex accounting issues and recommend mitigation solutions • Communicate US GAAP and Statutory accounting policy developments to managers and executives • Identify and resolve complex issues with internal and external auditors

🎯 Requirements

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; 4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's • 5–7+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 public accounting • Active CPA license • Experience in investment accounting is highly preferred • Familiarity with treasury and/or derivatives accounting is highly preferred • Experience utilizing AI tools for accounting research and documentation is preferred but not required
