📋 Description

• Complete and oversee systems analysis, design, and development from basic to complex • Serve as an individual contributor on complex projects • Maintain functional understanding of supported applications • Direct and monitor less experienced resources and coordinate development tasks • Prepare and manage technical components of project plans • Participate in systems development activities from technical analysis through user acceptance testing • Prepare and review test data, execute detailed test plans, and complete debugging • Evaluate interrelationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms • Provide analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing information technology solutions • Prepare and review technical and functional specifications and systems documentation • Prepare assessments including required tasks, timelines, and effort estimates • Maintain efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications • Recommend technologies, policies, and processes; participate in vendor software evaluations • Follow and promote development standards and procedures • Support business understanding and strategic direction • Assist with expense and capital budgets • Adhere to risk, regulatory, and internal control standards and escalate risk issues • Implement internal and external audit points and address regulator-raised issues • Perform related duties, including due diligence, cost/benefit analysis, and business studies • Work under the Technology Team Lead and independently handle high-level systems analysis and technical development phases • Manage project activities and monitor staff performance • Interact with senior management, technology personnel, clients, and vendors • Provide backup to higher management and serve as a technical representative on committees or ad-hoc projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of an Associates degree and 5 years systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years systems analysis/application development experience • Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms • Proficiency with personal computers, project management software, word processing software, and spreadsheet software • Capable of working on multiple projects of a complex nature • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience presenting to the target audience • Strong organizational and time management skills • Detail-oriented • Strong lateral thinking skills • Experience coordinating between Applications and business units • Experience recommending and implementing systems solutions • Experience driving project milestones and delivery dates • Good understanding of the Bank's application framework • Subject matter expertise in the supported business and application/system • Advanced understanding of supported applications and interfacing/integrated applications • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously • Ability to multitask across components of complex projects • Advanced knowledge of the entire system to work on projects outside normal business-as-usual activities
