📋 Description

• Create Private Wireless Network (PWN) designs, proposals, and scope of work documentation supporting CTS Sales and Sales Engineering teams • Create PWN RF designs using iBwave, Ranplan, and Eino prediction tool • Validate RF designs created by the design group and external parties • Plan and size Core (EPC/5GC) components and LAN infrastructure for PWN deployments • Create Core and LAN infrastructure layouts and IP planning diagrams using Visio, Word, and PowerPoint • Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on RF designs, Core/LAN planning, software licenses, engineering services, and customer requirements • Produce construction-ready proposals using the CTS quote book template and PowerPoint presentations • Build detailed scopes of work describing materials, equipment, and services • Manage internal and external customer expectations regarding delivery timelines and communication • Participate in customer meetings, exploratory site walks, and scope discovery meetings • Make informed design decisions and maintain positive relationships with customer personnel • Represent CTS positively

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering or similar experience • High school degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience will be considered • Basic knowledge of RF wave propagation theory and MNO (AT&T, Verizon & T-Mobile) owned spectrum bands in the US • Knowledge of the CBRS frequency band, the 3-tiers of spectrum access and the role of a Spectrum Access System (SAS) is advantageous • Basic knowledge of 4G/5G systems • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP layers and protocols) and high-level LAN/WAN infrastructure knowledge • GPON and SD-WAN infrastructure knowledge is a plus • Willingness to learn PWN RAN equipment manufacturers and deployment architectures • Knowledge of core (EPC/5GC) deployment options and best practices • Basic knowledge of public cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus • Ability to perform ISP backhaul requirement calculations and plan, scale, and size core supporting infrastructure • Ability to organize and perform take-offs of designs embedded in floor plan prints or CDs • Ability to communicate constructively with internal and external design teams • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) • Able to travel to customer meetings and perform national site walks, up to 25% of the time • Attend in-person and virtual training as required • Willingness and ability to learn new technical concepts and acquire new skill sets • High energy, attention to detail, timeliness, teamwork, positive attitude, adaptability, self-motivation, and high reliability • Able to work at a PC for extended hours • Able to travel by flight or drive to site walks • Able to walk for 4+ hours on longer site walks in indoor and outdoor environments • Able to physically attend PWN and Regional team meetings when necessary
