📋 Description

• Inspect new electrical installations • Review plans, design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and related qualification documentation • Issue, obtain, pull, and manage electrical permits across states and municipalities • Educate stakeholders and enforce electrical codes and standards • Maintain electrical compliance records • Act as qualification agent for medium/high- and low-voltage electrical systems • Ensure electrical work complies with NEC, state regulations, installation rules, and laws • Conduct site visits, safety audits, JSOs, and electrical safety compliance checks • Ensure electrical safety procedures are used and investigate incidents • Monitor technicians’ trainee cards and electrical work hours; submit hours to states • Ensure technicians renew trainee cards and complete required education courses • Document completed inspections in job stories or Cummins operations systems • Maintain relationships with state, city, local agencies, and the State Department of Industrial Relations when required • Maintain compliance with state confidence-testing requirements • Collaborate with Electrical Safety Coordinator, PEM/PM teams, Power Generation and Electric Vehicle Techs, and Start & Test teams • Participate in electrical safety meetings, weekly toolbox talks, monthly safety meetings, JSO/JSA processes, and required virtual or in-person meetings • Support customer experience, NPS improvement, customer retention, and timely communication • Analyze and streamline processes and maintain organized files • Participate in performance management, stakeholder feedback, IDP development, employee engagement, community events, and Planet 2050 eco-efficiency projects • Perform other duties as assigned or required

🎯 Requirements

• College, university, or equivalent degree required • Current Master Electrician license (or equivalent) in the home state • Current state electrical license with required hours and continuing education credits • Hold or be willing to apply for reciprocity electrical licenses in applicable reciprocal states • Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required • Ability to travel 90% or more • Knowledge of NEC and state electrical regulations • Knowledge of NFPA 70E codes • Experience or knowledge involving medium/high- and low-voltage power systems, generator installations, EV charger installations, loadbank testing, marine power generation, hydrolyzers, and fuel cells • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work collaboratively • Ability to attend virtual and in-person meetings • May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
