• Inspect new electrical installations and review plans, designs, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and related documentation. • Issue, pull, obtain, and manage electrical permits across states, cities, municipalities, and reciprocal states. • Educate stakeholders and enforce NEC, state electrical laws, regulations, and NFPA70e standards. • Conduct site visits, checklist reviews, JSO processes, electrical safety audits, and incident investigations. • Act as qualification agent for medium/high- and low-voltage electrical systems, including generators, EV chargers, loadbank testing, marine power generation, hydrolyzers, and fuel cells. • Monitor technician trainee cards, electrical work hours, renewal requirements, and continuing education submissions. • Maintain compliance records and document completed inspections in Cummins operations systems. • Maintain relationships with state, city, local municipality, and Department of Industrial Relations agencies. • Coordinate permitting and compliance with PEM/PM/Data Center and Start & Test teams. • Participate in electrical safety meetings, toolbox talks, safety programs, and meetings held virtually and in person. • Support customer experience, process improvement, organized files, and communication with customers, employees, and Washington Labor & Industries Organization. • Complete performance-management and individual-development activities; uphold Cummins values and leadership behaviors. • Travel extensively throughout the home state and reciprocal states; perform other duties as assigned.
• College, university, or equivalent degree required. • Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required. • Maintain a current Master Electrician license, equivalent master license, or other required electrical licenses in the home state and reciprocal states as required. • Maintain required electrical work hours and continuing education credits. • Hold or be willing to apply for reciprocity electrical licenses in applicable states. • Knowledge of NEC and NFPA70e codes, state electrical laws, regulations, and permitting requirements. • Experience or capability with medium/high- and low-voltage power systems, generator installations and service, EV charger installations and service, loadbank testing, marine power generation, hydrolyzers, and fuel cells. • Ability to conduct site visits, safety audits, JSO activities, inspections, and compliance reviews. • Ability to review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and qualification documentation. • Ability to monitor technician trainee cards, work hours, and continuing education compliance. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, collaboration, communication, customer focus, business insight, and ability to manage complexity. • Ability to attend required virtual and in-person meetings and travel approximately 75–90% or 90% or more. • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
