📋 Description

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment operating in Iron Ore mining environments • Deliver service support to mining and non-mining customers within the assigned territory • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical systems with minimal supervision • Maintain accurate service documentation, work orders, and reporting in company systems • Complete work in compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations • Communicate with customers, team members, and leadership about equipment status and service needs • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and customer satisfaction • Participate in mandatory on-call rotation for 24/7 operational support • Respond to service calls outside standard working hours as needed • Adapt to changing schedules and operational priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Strong mechanical background with proven hands-on experience • Proficiency in basic computer systems for diagnostics, reporting, and work order management • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and responsibilities without direct supervision • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned service area • Current valid license required • Five-year motor vehicle report free from major violations • Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical • 3 years of driving experience • Subject to DOT driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use • Must be at least 21 years of age • A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire • Willingness to work mandatory on-call rotation and required overtime, including extended hours, evenings, and weekends • Preferred: experience with high horsepower engines • Preferred: background in mining equipment or heavy equipment service environments • Preferred: familiarity with diagnostic tools and advanced troubleshooting techniques • Apprentice-Trained Engine Technician preferred • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution • Locally valid driving permit • May require licensing for compliance with export-control or sanctions regulations
