📋 Description

• Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team of federal Account Executives • Set and execute go-to-market strategy for federal agencies • Engage in top strategic deals, leading complex sales cycles • Coach team to become trusted product experts • Build executive relationships and represent Cursor at senior-executive levels • Establish clear ROI frameworks tied to developer productivity • Serve as the voice of the federal customer to leadership • Partner closely with Field Engineering and AI Deployment team • Navigate and build playbooks for federal procurement processes

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of federal or enterprise technology sales experience • 3+ years leading and scaling a quota-carrying sales team • Expertise in developer tools, technical SaaS, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or emerging technologies • Ability to navigate complex federal sales cycles • Analytical approach to pipeline and forecasting • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trust across all levels of an organization
