📋 Description

• Process orders from referral sources and patients • Respond to phone and fax inquiries • Resolve patient complaints • Assess patient needs and document referral requests for coordination of care • Provide information about equipment, supplies, and services to applicable departments • Coordinate with the Insurance Verification Team to process patient details and collect benefit coverage information • Relay insurance coverage information to referral sources and patients • Discuss forms required for billing with patients • Maintain communication and workflow between the branch, Sales staff, Insurance Verification team, and referral sources • Support the Enteral Nutrition Center with initial patient admissions onto service

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum two years experience in customer service • Minimum two years experience in healthcare • Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word • High School diploma or GED • Insurance terminology • Medical Benefit knowledge • Typing skills 40-50wpm • Multi-tasking • Using multiple screens • Call Center experience • Basic math skills • Insurance Coverage • Medical Terminology • Telephone Customer Service • Typing • Multiscreen • Medical Prescriptions • Customer Service Standards • Basic Math • Prescription Interpretation • Customer Service Communication • Prescription Processing • Ability to work alone • Ability to complete virtual training
