📋 Description

• Provide oversight and support for the Children’s System of Care across state agencies, Mercy Care, provider organizations, and children and families served • Deliver technical assistance, consultation, and operational support to behavioral health providers • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to identify provider needs and improve outcomes • Lead assigned projects from inception through completion, including project plans, timelines, milestones, progress monitoring, and resource coordination • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in designated CSOC program areas • Review contracts, program requirements, and operational processes for compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational standards • Oversee development, monitoring, and reporting of key performance indicators, operational metrics, and stakeholder deliverables • Develop reporting mechanisms to identify system trends, monitor performance, support decision-making, and address emerging service needs • Analyze complex data and present findings, recommendations, and action plans to leadership and stakeholders • Respond to inquiries regarding care coordination and behavioral health service delivery • Support development and implementation of training related to Children’s Population and Children’s System services and processes • Provide consultation and technical assistance to provider agencies regarding policies, procedures, contracts, quality standards, member record documentation, and regulatory expectations • Conduct provider reviews, including record reviews, staff interviews, and client interviews • Facilitate meetings, workgroups, presentations, and training sessions • Participate in community-based activities and travel throughout Arizona as required • Support all Mercy Care lines of business for Children’s System of Care • Perform other duties as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the behavioral health field • 1-3 years of experience managing projects, meeting deadlines, and successfully delivering complex initiatives • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to navigate internal and external technology systems • Must reside in Arizona • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time within Arizona • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations • 2+ years of experience working within the Arizona Medicaid Behavioral Health System • 1-2 years of experience collaborating with key child-serving systems, including Child Welfare, the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), Juvenile Justice, or educational systems • Knowledge of Mercy Care lines of business, including ALTCS, DCS CHP, DDD, and ACC-RBHA • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
