📋 Description

• Support Medicaid Prior Authorization as a Clinical Pharmacist for Aetna • Apply evidence-based clinical guidelines and criteria in clinical decision-making • Utilize formularies and preferred drug lists • Review medical records and clinical literature • Compose SOAP notes • Work in a high-production team environment • Work the assigned AZ-time shift, scheduled Saturday rotations, and occasional holidays

🎯 Requirements

• Active and unrestricted AZ or TX pharmacist license in good standing • New hire must obtain an additional AZ or TX pharmacist license within 90 days of hire • Experience with clinical decision-making using evidence-based clinical guidelines/criteria • Experience utilizing formularies/preferred drug lists • 3+ years of experience working as a pharmacist • Experience working in a high production team environment • Knowledge of clinical program components, formulary designs, and prescription benefit trends • Medicaid or Medicare experience preferred • Prior authorization experience preferred • Experience reviewing medical records and clinical literature preferred • Experience composing SOAP notes preferred • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD • Ability to work 10:00 am–6:30 pm AZ time after training • Ability to complete an 8-week training schedule from 8:00 am–4:30 pm AZ time • Ability to work one Saturday every 6 weeks and occasional holidays
