📋 Description

• Support Medicaid Prior Authorization as a Clinical Pharmacist with Aetna • Apply evidence-based clinical guidelines and criteria in clinical decision-making • Utilize formularies and preferred drug lists • Work in a high-production remote team environment • Review medical records and clinical literature • Compose SOAP notes • Work the 10:30 am–7:00 pm CST shift after training • Complete training on the 10:00 am–6:30 pm CST schedule • Work one Saturday every 4–6 weeks and occasional holidays

🎯 Requirements

• Active and unrestricted TX and/or AZ pharmacist license • New hire is required to obtain the secondary license (AZ or TX) within 90 days of hire • Demonstrated experience with clinical decision-making while applying evidence-based clinical guidelines/criteria • Experience utilizing formularies/preferred drug lists • Experience working in a high production, remote team environment • 3+ years experience working as a pharmacist or completion of PGY1 managed care residency, including prior authorization experience • Demonstrated understanding of clinical program components, formulary designs, and prescription benefit trends • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD • Qualified candidates within the United States who currently hold active, unrestricted TX or AZ pharmacist licensure
