📋 Description

• Provide timely, practical, and actionable legal advice to internal business partners and leadership • Draft commercial prescription benefit management (PBM) contracts for CVS Health’s health plan and employer clients/payors • Advise internal partners on PBM program terms and related matters • Interpret and administer PBM services agreements • Provide legal and regulatory compliance interpretation and general corporate legal advice • Identify business and legal risks and recommend solutions balancing risks with business objectives • Develop understanding of assigned internal clients’ business and operational goals • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients across the organization • Collaborate with team members and business partners on legal issues and projects • Provide counsel directly to PBM division leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transactional and/or complex contracting with a healthcare company or law firm • 2+ years of healthcare law experience • Basic knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, the False Claims Act, and the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute • Admitted to practice law in at least one state • Ability to travel up to 5% (including by plane) • Undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor required • Healthcare or PBM experience • Expertise in negotiating and drafting complex contracts • Ability to work collaboratively in a large, complex corporate structure • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
