📋 Description

• Provide psychosocial support and education for individuals, couples, and families ages 13+ • Practice evidence-based mental health therapy • Perform diagnosis, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling • Use assessment and treatment planning tools to support continuity of patient care • Build and grow the MinuteClinic mental health practice • Reach and support patients within their communities • Collaborate with the clinical care team • Deliver therapy virtually and across multiple platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Current, active, and unencumbered California state license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, or LMFT • Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills • Evidence-based methodologies including motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy • Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university • Must be licensed in California as an LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, or LMFT • If hired, must be willing and able to obtain additional state licensure • Preferred: experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery • Preferred: understanding of psychosocial aspects of illness and health • Preferred: comfort using electronic health record systems and multiple platforms • Preferred: understanding of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements • Preferred: crisis intervention skills • Preferred: previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting
