📋 Description

• Interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization and therapy changes • Answer patient questions, solve problems, and provide education • Communicate the benefits of generics or appropriate therapy to patients • Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications with the Specialty Projects Team • Perform adherence outreach to help patients remain compliant with their therapies • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with patients, clients, and other customers • Proactively obtain patient and order information • Apply working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement requirements for dispensing • Process new referrals • Provide customer education and routinely assess and identify problems • Escalate appropriate issues to a pharmacist • Resolve patients' questions on the first call while providing empathetic customer service

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone • Experience multitasking while handling customers, retrieving information, and communicating information • Must reside in the state of Pennsylvania • High School Diploma or equivalent • Adherence to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements • Ability to maintain personal internet meeting approved speed requirements • Ability to maintain a secure, distraction-free workspace • Preferred: 6+ months of experience in a high-volume call center/customer service environment • Preferred: Experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or similar applications • Must complete the Virtual Job Tryout as part of the application process
