📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain tools and applications supporting Actuarial and Underwriting pricing, forecasting, and business analysis activities • Use SQL to transform, analyze, and validate data for application development and business processes • Develop new functionality, implement enhancements, and resolve issues in existing tools and applications • Serve as a subject matter expert for multiple actuarial and business applications • Document code, processes, and technical solutions for maintainability and long-term support • Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, business, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions • Manage multiple priorities while working independently

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience • Strong technical aptitude developing, enhancing, and maintaining business applications, tools, or automation solutions • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Strong VBA and SQL skills • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, reliable solutions • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to document technical processes, workflows, and code for long-term maintainability • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Preferred: Understanding of actuarial concepts, methodologies, and workflows • Preferred: One or more actuarial exams completed • Preferred: Experience supporting actuarial pricing, forecasting, underwriting, or insurance-related functions • Preferred: Experience with Selenium • Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
