📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical data including CCD data, claims, pharmacy, lab results, and clinical documentation • Design and maintain clinical data models, taxonomies, and classification frameworks • Build the clinical data feature store with standards, documentation, and best practices • Develop documented, validated, and reusable tables, views, and data features for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML • Create and maintain data dictionaries, lineage, business logic, limitations, and appropriate-use guidelines • Build queries, dashboards, and visualizations communicating data quality, availability, and clinical insights • Partner with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to translate data needs into solutions • Maintain data quality frameworks including validation rules, anomaly detection, and monitoring • Translate clinical concepts into analytical frameworks • Collaborate with data engineering on clinical data pipelines • Contribute to HIPAA, privacy, and data governance initiatives • Deliver training, presentations, and consultations to data consumers • Stay current with HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, CPT, NDC, and RxNorm standards

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in clinical informatics, healthcare analytics, or clinical data management • Expertise in CCD data, lab results, clinical notes, medical claims, pharmacy data, and administrative healthcare data • Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, NDC, and RxNorm • Experience designing and documenting clinical or healthcare data models, taxonomies, or classification frameworks • Ability to support analysts, data scientists, and business users through documentation, training, and consultative support • Expert SQL skills and Python proficiency • Experience with large-scale healthcare datasets • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably GCP including BigQuery • Strong understanding of healthcare data quality principles, validation, profiling, and monitoring • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Public Health, Nursing, Health Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative or clinical field—or equivalent combination of formal education and experience
