• Support quality pipeline development and brand awareness within the Federal market through field and channel marketing programs, events, and campaigns • Develop pipeline generation programs for federal civilian and/or Department of War (DoW) accounts • Create and deliver integrated Federal-market programs, including curated content, digital marketing, webinars, Cyera events, third-party event sponsorships, partner alignment events, direct mail, and teleprospecting • Collaborate with federal sales to optimize pipeline coverage, acceleration, and territory alignment • Support territory planning and sales alignment within the region • Partner with the business development team on outreach and lead follow-up • Educate and enable the federal sales team on new and planned marketing activities • Measure and analyze field marketing performance against target plans • Manage and balance the federal field marketing budget and spend • Work with the channel team and government-focused distributors and resellers, including Carahsoft and Immix (Arrow), on co-marketing plans and joint pipeline generation programs • Improve waterfall metrics, including reach, conversion, velocity, value, and return • Develop and implement relevant messaging for federal accounts • Manage event logistics and onsite execution • Design creative, cost-conscious event formats such as lunch-and-learns, agency briefings, and small-group roundtables compliant with federal ethics and gift-limit guidelines • Develop and deliver webinar and virtual briefing content tailored to federal civilian and DoW stakeholders
• Minimum of seven (7) years of field marketing experience, including three (3) to five (5) years specifically within the federal market (civilian and DoW) • Based in or near the Washington, DC metro area preferred • Highly knowledgeable about demand generation and marketing best practices • Results-oriented with a passion for performance measurement and analytics • Experience delivering engagement programs that ensure incredibly successful customers who continue to renew and expand • Proven success in executing programs and events that drive demand, deal acceleration, return, and deliver exceptional experience for attendees • Content creation experience across messaging platforms, email, direct mail, digital ads, SDR scripts, and marketing assets • Experience developing regional and channel plans to support account-based marketing • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with sales and marketing • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time • Ability to clearly articulate a market-specific value proposition and tailor it to program requirements • Strong understanding of content creation and tailored messaging • Experience in segmentation analysis, budgeting, and building business cases • Understanding of B2B sales cycles and demand creation, pipeline contribution, and sales opportunity acceleration • Excellent grasp of marketing performance metrics management and ROI • Ability to market to B2B buyers using white papers, case studies, webcasts, digital marketing, email, call downs, and direct mail • General understanding of federal government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and buying behavior • Familiarity with civilian and Department of War (DoW) personas and mission priorities • Understanding of government fiscal-year budget cycles • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and/or predictive analytics tools preferred • Familiarity with government-focused distributors and resellers, such as Carahsoft and Immix (Arrow) • Experience planning and executing webinars and virtual briefings for federal audiences • Integrated marketing content creation and implementation experience • Ability to understand the company and product pitch and execute it in the field • Ability to convey information to internal and external audiences • Ability to write and deliver marketing-quality emails, presentations, and collateral • Exceptional event planning skills, including event contracts and BEO specifics • Experience designing cost-conscious events compliant with federal ethics and gift-limit guidelines • Recruitment planning for events and execution excellence • Flexibility and “can-do” attitude • Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve regional marketing goals • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines • Self-starter • Ability to evaluate and navigate complex problems with multiple, evolving variables • Revenue-generating mindset and ownership of pipeline outcomes
