📋 Description

• Facilitate technical and/or sales training covering installation, controls, commissioning, service, troubleshooting, products, and basic applications • Work with subject matter experts to develop or enhance curriculum • Prepare training facilities and labs before training classes • Maintain training material inventory at the assigned location • Maintain training facility standards, including equipment and tools • Assist in developing product and technical training programs and related PowerPoint presentations, videos, manuals, and other materials • Provide communication, promotion, coordination, and other support for product and technical training • Act as a liaison between sales, product marketing, service, and training • Assist at educational or industry conferences and present at conferences • Perform additional projects and duties supporting ongoing business needs • Audit technical trainers 1 and 2 and experienced independent trainers • Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals • Report to the Manager, Technical Training

🎯 Requirements

• Experience training in the technical service field • Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Knowledge of HVAC products and controls • Knowledge of management systems is a plus • Proven track record of success in service and customer service • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills • Ability to interact with students of varied backgrounds • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from management, students, and customers • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers and build long-term business relationships • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and course curricula • Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues • Customer focus, detail orientation, and organization • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative independently • Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity • 8+ years of experience with HVAC installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance • 8+ years facilitating product and technical training • HVAC degree or certification • Legally authorized for employment in the United States • Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future • Able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
