📋 Description

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care • Anticipate and recognize changes in patient status and modify or escalate the plan of care as necessary • Advocate for patients, uphold autonomy, ensure informed consent, and support self-determination • Seek feedback and improve performance • Engage in practice governance • Manage interpersonal relationships and mentor colleagues • Assume authority and accountability for patient nursing care and delegate appropriately • Prioritize and organize time to optimize patient outcomes • Apply current evidence and standards to daily practice • Contribute to research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice • Communicate effectively across practice areas • Partner with others to effect positive change through knowledge exchange • Precept student nurses, nurse externs, nurse residents, experienced clinical nurses, and other healthcare team members • Perform other duties as required or assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Outpatient Pediatric or GI experience required • Pediatric GI experience preferred • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required • Licensed Registered Nurse with NH eligibility • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred • Ability to utilize the nursing process and provide evidence-based care • Ability to practice in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics • Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of formats • Ability to contribute to research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
