📋 Description

• Lead client-facing interactions to understand data needs and provide direction on fit-for-purpose datasets and data model creation • Collaborate internally to deploy new data sources and advise on data opportunities and potential data partnerships • Develop data models and map different datasets to candidate-designed models • Assess stacking and linking of similar and different datasets • Read and develop client data dictionaries using best practices • Liaise between clients and internal technical teams on data model design and transformation • Develop internal and external frameworks to assess datasets and identify best-fit use cases • Advise stakeholders on datasets for therapeutic areas and analytic solutions • Lead dataset validation and assessment with internal constituents and determine research questions addressable by specific data sources • Communicate data strategy and priorities to leadership and internal constituents • Liaise between external data partners and internal sales, delivery, product, and engineering teams to deploy new data sources • Work in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of operational or management experience using real-world data, preferably in life sciences and/or healthcare • Master’s degree in a science-related field, or an undergraduate engineering degree or above • Analytical experience with healthcare data, including acquiring and analyzing clinical and longitudinal patient datasets • Experience choosing and applying real-world data to specific research questions and therapeutic areas • SQL coding experience is a plus • Ability to develop and manage processes, operations, and technology for dataset ingestion and implementation • Excellent time management and ability to multitask and prioritize work • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills • Ability to self-motivate and lead others; expected to manage project timelines and team members despite initially being an individual contributor • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with senior executives and customers • Travel as required • Must be eligible to work without employment sponsorship • May need to complete post-offer health screenings and required vaccinations
