📋 Description

• Work on large and small events across the Village • Conduct site visits • Prepare budgets and room diagrams • Create equipment lists • Order equipment • Schedule labor • Set up event equipment • Organize PowerPoint presentations • Manage freelance labor • Operate equipment • Run presentations • Tear down equipment after events • Process labor invoices • Bill expenses back to departments • Close jobs in the company system • Handle expenses, invoices, emails, meetings, and homerooms • Mentor and support others • Create best-practice documents • Identify process-improvement opportunities • Guide activities and monitor outcomes • Provide customer service

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma • Knowledge of AV Systems • Knowledge of AV Procedures • Knowledge of Vectorworks Spotlight drafting software • Experience working in the event technology and production services industry, with a concentration in corporate events and/or trade shows a plus • Fluent written and verbal skills necessary to perform the role • Ability to lift 5 to 50 lbs unassisted • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, stretch, reach, and use full range of body motions • Manual dexterity for specific equipment • Ability to use computer keyboard and peripherals • Ability to differentiate colors on a test strip may be required • Willingness/ability to travel 25% • Availability for nights/weekends 10–20%
