📋 Description

• Perform revenue cycle duties related to medical insurance billing, collections, or patient access • Process patient insurance information through patient intake • Submit insurance claims accurately and on time • Collect payments on outstanding patient balances • Communicate with insurance payers regarding coverage and reimbursement for dialysis services • Review and submit system setup requests for center and payer information • Respond to payer communications promptly and accurately • Collaborate with revenue operations teams • Partner with insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators • Identify process changes and continuous improvement opportunities • Maintain current patient account information • Protect confidential company and patient information • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed • Follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department/company procedures

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Basic computer skills • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook • Healthcare Credits or Revenue Cycle Management experience • Knowledge or experience working with a variety of healthcare insurance payers • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills • Ability to adapt quickly and manage stress • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively • Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies • Ability to work Monday–Friday during daytime hours • May be required to work overtime as needed
