📋 Description

• Manage capture, proposal, and assist execution efforts for the Operations and Maintenance Business Line across multiple LAUKOA Portfolio Companies • Identify and pursue strategic and pop-up opportunities • Prepare winning proposals and estimates with Strategy, Operations, Business Development, Procurement, Proposal, and other Business Unit teams • Develop operational post-award execution strategies and facilitate handoff to Operations teams • Maintain client relationships, generate new clients, and meet business KPI objectives • Develop and monitor annual strategic plans covering sales, operations, finance, and HR goals • Manage sales forecasts and indirect costs against established goals • Coordinate proposal preparation, negotiate revisions, and manage contract changes when applicable • Develop client leads through research, cold calling, qualification, and customer service • Create sales documentation, action plans, proposals, presentations, and internal paperwork • Evaluate and qualify enterprise contract opportunities and prepare Gate Reviews • Scout marketplaces and competitors, assess contract risks, and build win strategies • Attend site visits and develop relationships with subcontractors and incumbent personnel • Validate client satisfaction and existing project performance to identify new opportunities • Develop responses to RFIs and Sources Sought Notices • Manage and write high-quality proposals for large, complex Federal/DoD opportunities • Analyze RFP requirements, build compliance cross-references, and coordinate proposal teams • Write, proofread, edit, format, quality-check, and produce final proposals • Maintain proposal and marketing databases • Establish and oversee Program objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards • Manage professional development plans and HR-related personnel documentation when applicable • Assist Project Teams with staffing assignments • Lead, guide, coach, and develop subordinates • Facilitate post-award transition, document contractual requirements and execution assumptions, and support kickoff and initial mobilization activities • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• At least ten (10) years of related experience • Experience working with or for the federal government highly desired • Federal operations and maintenance experience highly desired • Knowledge and firm understanding of proposal writing, estimating, business development, capture management, and operations • Exceptional leadership qualities • Strategic thinking • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills • Proactive, results-driven nature • Highly organized with strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail • Strong proficiency with email management and Microsoft Office programs • Ability to work with and motivate different personality types • Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record • Ability to pass a federal government Public Trust investigation required • Ability to gain a Department of Defense or other federal agency security clearance up to the Top Secret level highly desired • Ability to travel • Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures
