📋 Description

• Write clear, accurate and reader-focused home services content across a variety of formats, including guides, comparisons and reviews. • Conduct research using credible sources, data and expert insights to ensure accuracy and authority. • Follow USA TODAY editorial guidelines, commerce standards and disclosure requirements. • Collaborate with editors to revise and optimize content for clarity, accuracy and search performance. • Update existing content as needed to maintain accuracy and relevance. • Meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced digital newsroom environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience writing about home services, personal finance, or small-business topics. • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, approachable way. • Familiarity with SEO-driven service journalism and digital publishing best practices. • Familiarity with the latest developments in Generative Engine Optimization. • Strong research and fact-checking skills. • Experience working in a newsroom, digital media organization or commerce content environment.
