📋 Description

• Own customer and prospect privacy risk assessments, DPIAs, and transfer impact assessments end to end • Serve as the technical voice in customer privacy reviews and vendor due diligence calls • Build and maintain data flow maps and records of processing across hosted, dedicated, and self-hosted deployments • Track which datacenter, region, or cloud each data flow touches and maintain accuracy as products change • Translate GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, US state privacy laws, and emerging AI regulation into actionable requirements • Define privacy requirements for product and infrastructure changes, including retention, logging, telemetry, subprocessors, and training-data lineage • Drive privacy requirements to implementation with owning teams • Own privacy control operations, including retention and deletion enforcement, DSAR and deletion workflows, consent and opt-out handling, de-identification, and redaction • Specify, instrument, test, and audit privacy controls in partnership with Engineering • Design and run operational auditing and remediation workflows • Own subprocessor and vendor privacy reviews, including colocation and infrastructure providers • Maintain artifacts supporting DPAs and the trust center • Create privacy playbooks, self-service guidance, and training for Engineering, Support, and Sales Engineering • Partner with Legal on DPAs, SCCs, transfer mechanisms, and dedicated-deployment residency commitments • Partner with Security to reuse privacy and security evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS • Report to the Director of Information Security and collaborate with Legal, Engineering, and Solutions/Sales Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial experience in privacy operations, legal operations, or technical privacy and compliance • Experience running privacy assessments end to end and owning the outcome • Demonstrated ownership of privacy operational systems at scale, including data maps, DSAR workflows, consent management, retention processes, or related tooling • Ability to read architecture diagrams and follow data flows through datacenter and cloud infrastructure • Understanding of logs and retention settings and ability to identify privacy gaps • Practical, applied experience with GDPR and CCPA/CPRA • Current understanding of emerging AI regulation • Ability to work directly with Fortune 500 privacy teams or DPOs • Strong writing skills • Bias toward automating and documenting work • Comfort with ambiguity and unsettled law • Nice to have: CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E, or equivalent certification • Nice to have: familiarity with Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, SQL, Docker, AWS, on-premise or colocation infrastructure, ML/AI data pipelines, training-data governance, hybrid privacy models, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI DSS
