📋 Description

• Manage the highest executive relationship with the client and guide the entire project • Own project execution, client results, and the client relationship • Serve as overall Program Manager and potentially oversee Lead Consultants/Project Managers depending on engagement size and complexity • Develop and coach project teams to increase consulting skills • Deliver solutions that produce safety performance results and client ROI • Build long-term relationships as a trusted advisor to executives • Uncover opportunities to expand the depth and duration of client engagements • Lead large, complex client engagements • Coach client executives and deliver DEKRA’s Executive Leading with Safety program and other solutions • Track progress against client objectives and adjust as necessary • Guide and facilitate governance • Communicate routinely with client leadership and delivery teams • Adapt the centerline model to client objectives and needs • Enable and manage project-team success • Ensure solutions are integrated and aligned with client objectives across the client organization • Provide performance feedback and collaborate with managers on team-member growth, development, and work/life balance • Maintain a complete and accurate project plan • Manage projects toward the stated realization rate and effective consultant utilization • Achieve monthly forecast accuracy • Expand client relationships and identify additional opportunities for DEKRA • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by following established procedures and policies

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in leadership roles, including executive experience with safety responsibility • Advanced degree or certification preferred • Experience and presence in front of C-suite leaders • Demonstrated cognitive flexibility • Ability to function with ambiguity • Deep knowledge of DEKRA solutions • Ability to interpret the impact of non-safety processes on safety and culture • Ability to develop a strategic plan supporting the scope of work and overall safety excellence • Ability to manage client excellence and DEKRA business • Ability to create a project team culture supporting and aligning with OSR values • Fluency with various governance structures and how they fit and function in different situations • Fluency with metrics and ability to propose specific client metrics • Fluency in applying effective change management • Fluency in SMS best practices and ability to propose enhancements to close gaps • Ability to lead a matrixed team • Ability to develop others • Must work in varied client locations, environments, and conditions, including stairs, long distances, rough or uneven terrain, work facilities, and heat/cold conditions indoors and outdoors • Must accommodate various shifts according to client activities • Must withstand extensive travel, including difficult travel and long periods of driving • Ability to move and work with full range of motion • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. of luggage • Ability to perform extended periods of computer-based work and standing • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 50% • US-based; not eligible for visa sponsorship
