📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day management of select gas project development activities from technology due diligence and FEED studies to construction readiness • Lead E&C participation in gas project technology and commercial due diligence • Evaluate commercial commitments, constructability, site integration complexity, utility interconnection requirements, and preliminary cost positioning • Identify and document technology and commercial risks, including balance-of-plant alternatives, supply chain availability, and site-specific constraints • Provide E&C technical and commercial input to OEM and contractor meetings, site visits, and technology assessments • Coordinate SMEs to evaluate balance-of-plant and interconnection requirements, including switchyard, transmission, gas, water, wastewater, and air emissions requirements • Lead participation in technology reviews, capital estimate and schedule development, and preliminary engineering phases • Maintain a risk register covering scope, schedule, cost, and constructability risks • Coordinate E&C SME resources for site configuration reviews and risk assessments • Lead participation in offtake agreement negotiation, site permitting, and interconnection processes • Partner with Integrated Supply Chain on RFQ input, scope review, and bid evaluation for major equipment and EPC/EPCM scopes • Lead bid evaluation, recommendation, and contract negotiation activities • Lead schedule development, cost benchmarking, cashflow modeling, and risk-adjusted cost positioning • Report emerging risks, mitigation actions, and residual exposure to leadership • Support process improvement and integration of project data and risk tracking into project management platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field • 8+ years of experience in energy project development or large capital construction, with demonstrated leadership in complex, multi-stakeholder environments • Experience in EPC/EPCM project delivery, cost estimating, schedule development, and project risk management for gas generation projects • Experience in major equipment and EPC/EPCM contract procurement including bid preparation, evaluation, negotiation and award • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity in early-stage, origination-led development programs • Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders including executive management and public officials • Preferred: Experience with combined cycle or simple cycle gas development across multiple geographies and regulatory environments • Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management and scheduling software
