• Own and manage the full registration program across approximately 24 annual races • Build, update, and maintain event-specific registrations • Serve as primary owner of the Swoogo registration platform • Create, review, and refine registration copy, guest instructions, confirmations, reminders, platform text, and FAQs • Manage attendee data, including guest lists, dietary needs, access levels, and required program information • Communicate with guests to resolve registration issues, correct submissions, and gather missing information • Track registration progress and provide status updates to internal teams and clients • Coordinate registration, event operations, and guest experience across cross-functional teams • Support merchandise fulfillment workflows for each race when based in Charlotte • Direct junior staff responsible for packing and shipping merchandise • Create registration reports, attendee summaries, itineraries, and client-ready collateral • Lead or support internal and client calls regarding registration timelines, status, and next steps • Improve registration processes, tools, communication templates, and platform workflows • Evaluate registration performance post-event and recommend improvements • Support broader event tasks, focusing on registration and merchandise coordination rather than on-site hospitality • Report to the Senior Director, Hospitality & Events
• Bachelor’s degree required • 5+ years of experience in event registration, event technology, program management, or platform-based operations • Hands-on experience with registration platforms; Swoogo preferred, with Cvent, Bizzabo, or similar acceptable • Strong experience writing, editing, and reviewing registration copy and guest-facing communication • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, accuracy-driven workflows • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proven ability to manage high-volume attendee data and complex registration requirements • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to manage multiple races, timelines, and communication streams simultaneously • Experience supporting corporate events or hospitality programs preferred • Comfort working in a non-traveling, platform-focused role • For Charlotte-based candidates, ability to support merchandise fulfillment coordination with junior staff
