Derick Dermatology is a multi-location dermatology practice providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care services to adult and pediatric patients across the Chicago, IL and Tampa Bay, FL areas. The practice offers treatments including skin cancer diagnosis and surgical removal (including Mohs surgery), general medical dermatology, cosmetic procedures (Botox, fillers, laser treatments), in-house dermatopathology, and patient-facing services such as online scheduling, patient portal access, and insurance-friendly billing.

📋 Description

• Assist with scheduling and contact center activities • Answer inbound calls to schedule appointments for new or existing patients at all locations • Collect and document patient medical history in the electronic medical record (EMR) • Provide comprehensive administrative and patient support services using virtual technologies • Deliver timely and accurate information, scheduling, and assistance while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism • Perform other duties as assigned and as requirements evolve

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Healthcare-specific training preferred but not required • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Friendly, polite, and professional demeanor • Empathy and a caring attitude toward patients • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with ability to work independently • Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to US HIPAA laws and other relevant regulations • Reliable high-speed internet connection • Quiet, private workspace • Must live in Alabama • Required schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00am–7:15pm CST, plus one Saturday per month, 6:45am–12:45pm
