📋 Description

• Design fire suppression systems, including sprinkler layouts, piping arrangements, and coordinated BIM models • Perform hydraulic calculations to verify system performance, pipe sizing, water flow, and pressure requirements • Develop fabrication drawings, material lists, and permit submittal packages for review by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) • Coordinate Revit models with structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams to resolve clashes before installation • Review project specifications, applicable NFPA standards, and field information to produce accurate, constructible designs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing fire suppression or fire sprinkler systems required • Proficiency with AutoSPRINK required • Strong Revit and BIM modeling experience required • Working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 13D, NFPA 13R, and related fire protection codes • Experience performing hydraulic calculations and preparing fabrication documentation • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and architectural backgrounds • Experience coordinating multi-trade models on commercial or industrial construction projects • Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • If hired, a Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification must be completed at the start of employment • Temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify you from employment
