📋 Description

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and federal court filings • Conduct legal research and develop strategic case approaches • Represent clients in state and federal court hearings, mediations, and trials • Handle all phases of discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production • Ensure compliance with federal and state procedural rules and court deadlines • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel • Provide case evaluations and legal recommendations • Collaborate with case managers and support staff • Maintain accurate and timely billing records to meet required billable hours

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of legal practice • Active federal licensure, with Southern District licensure required • Demonstrated experience in civil litigation • Experience in business law and real estate litigation • Trial experience • Ability to meet a minimum of 60 billable hours bi-weekly (120+ hours per month) • Strong ability to independently manage cases and deadlines • Must be available for court appearances as needed • Experience handling federal litigation matters preferred • Background in estate planning and/or tax law is a plus • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
