📋 Description

• Teach undergraduate and graduate cybersecurity-related courses • Facilitate student learning in accordance with DeVry University requirements • Develop course syllabi and lesson plans aligned with course and program objectives • Organize, prepare, revise, and update course materials • Use online technologies, websites, email, online discussions, and course-related software • Model effective oral and written communication • Publish course objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weighting • Ensure examinations align with terminal course objectives • Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly • Provide timely feedback to students • Integrate responsible AI technologies into teaching and learning • Recognize, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools • Complete other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field • At least 18 graduate credit hours in cybersecurity, information assurance, network security, digital forensics, or related computing disciplines • Unofficial graduate-level transcripts must be uploaded with the application • Degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or equivalent international accreditation • Three to five years of applied professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, threat analysis, or digital risk management • Demonstrated experience with network security, system hardening, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring • Industry-recognized cybersecurity, information assurance, or information security operations certifications or professional credentials • Strong cybersecurity subject matter expertise and ability to explain complex security concepts to diverse learners • Knowledge of cyber risk management, regulatory and compliance considerations, ethical security practices, and responsible use of security technologies • Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices • Additional requirements may apply based on state licensing, institutional policy, or accreditation standards
