📋 Description

• Teach and share professional knowledge and experience with undergraduate and graduate students • Facilitate student learning by teaching courses and programs in accordance with DeVry University requirements • Develop course syllabi and lesson plans • Apply teaching techniques to achieve course and programmatic objectives • Develop and provide approved course syllabi following local campus templates and including terminal course objectives • Organize, prepare, regularly revise, and update course materials • Use online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions • Model effective oral and written communication • Set course expectations, objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weighting • Ensure exams align with course terminal objectives • Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly, providing timely student feedback • Integrate responsible AI technologies into classroom teaching and learning • Recognize, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools • Complete other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• A doctorate in the subject being taught or a doctoral degree in a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject is required • Applicants must upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts with their application • Degrees must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an international institution determined to hold equivalent accreditation • Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply • Requisite subject matter expertise • Outstanding communication skills • Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
