📋 Description

• Investigate heterogeneous data management techniques and polystore systems • Apply AI and machine learning techniques to data quality, data profiling, data integration, and schema matching • Develop tools and frameworks for scalable machine learning models and data science algorithms across tabular, time-series, text, audio, and video data • Create distributed data processing architectures leveraging edge computing • Enable use cases such as predictive routing, data-driven experiences, and adaptive environments • Collaborate with peer research teams on data-related opportunities in adjacent domains, including applied AI and machine learning in audio and video

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience • PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field • Strong background in relational databases, big data systems, and data analytic systems • Expertise in data management, data cleaning, distributed systems, database storage engines, query processing, query optimization, and applied data science • Hands-on experience developing machine learning models and data science algorithms across tabular, time-series, text, audio, and video data • Working knowledge of Git • Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA
