📋 Description

• Gain familiarity with Field Service Technician practices and procedures. • Troubleshoot hardware and software failures using diagnostic tools and detailed analysis. • Perform component-level hardware repairs. • Clean and adjust mechanical components. • Configure and install applicable software. • Perform preventive maintenance and routine checks according to documented procedures. • Refill consumables as directed. • Install, move, add, change, and remove hardware and software products. • Instruct and train customers on the use and operation of installed hardware and software. • Participate in hardware and software training through on-the-job, classroom, and web-based formats. • Participate in measures to achieve agreed KPIs. • Assist with special projects as assigned. • Schedule services, complete required paperwork, and work with customers to ensure service satisfaction and product-functionality understanding.

🎯 Requirements

• Education or equivalent work experience required. • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Field Services. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Driver's license and driving record that satisfies DN's fleet requirements. • PC literacy and good knowledge and application of the relevant tools and methods. • Ability to attend training classes in Canton, Ohio for 1-2 weeks. • Ability to lift and move heavy loads, stand most of the day, climb, bend and stoop while working on equipment. • Acceptance of exposure to the outside elements. • Shift adaptability, including an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends. • Exceptional customer service skills. • Ability to organize and inventory truck stock parts and tools. • Sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional presence and ability to work in a team environment. • Ability to pass MVR, background and drug tests where required. • Product knowledge of the relevant industry and basic ITIL skills preferred. • Firstline Service Technician work experience preferred. • Vocational/Trade School preferred.
