📋 Description

• Install, debug, and provide technical maintenance for products and component hardware and software, mainly on customer premises • Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and minor product repairs within the assigned territory • Inspect products for correct operation and resolve or escalate issues according to established procedures • Schedule services, complete required paperwork, and ensure customer satisfaction and product-functionality understanding • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware and software failures • Perform component-level hardware repairs • Clean and adjust mechanical components • Configure and install applicable software • Refill consumables as directed • Install, move, add, change, and remove hardware and software products • Instruct and train customers on installed hardware and software usage and operation • Participate in hardware and software training • Participate in measures to achieve agreed KPIs • Assist with special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Education or equivalent work experience required • Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Field Services Mechanical/Electrical • Experience in break-fix, technical repair, or service • Driver's license and driving record satisfying DN's fleet requirements • PC literacy and knowledge and application of relevant tools and methods • Product knowledge of the relevant industry and basic ITIL skills preferred • Ability to attend training classes in Canton, Ohio for 1–2 weeks • Ability to lift and move heavy loads, stand most of the day, climb, bend, and stoop while working on equipment • Acceptance of exposure to outside elements • Shift adaptability, including an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends • Exceptional customer service skills • Ability to organize and inventory truck stock parts and tools • Sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional presence, and ability to work in a team environment • Ability to pass MVR, background, and drug tests where required • Firstline Service Technician work experience preferred • Vocational/Trade School preferred • Good written and verbal communication skills
