• Lead cross-functional electrical, software, RF, mechanical, and project coordination teams • Deliver customer development agreements and product launches • Manage strategic customer engagements, including Annual Development Agreements • Own project scope, schedule, and budget • Communicate project changes, risks, and mitigation strategies • Manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities and evolving technical requirements • Serve as the primary external point of contact for assigned projects • Facilitate technical and program-level dialogue with customer stakeholders • Lead internal and external project meetings • Prepare and deliver executive-level project reviews and status reports • Ensure projects meet Digi's engineering quality standards and documented processes, including SDLC, stage-gate, and time-tracking • Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track • Document lessons learned and drive process enhancements within the Design Services team • Promote effective use of Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, and financial tracking systems • Lead product development and integration projects involving embedded systems, IoT devices, Digi ConnectCore SOMs, Android/Linux drivers, MCU/XBee modules, and cellular connectivity
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field • 8–12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8–10 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience • 8+ years of technical project management experience • Demonstrated leadership of full product lifecycle development projects, including tracking, planning, budgeting, and scheduling • Experience managing engineering teams and customer-facing deliverables, ideally in an embedded systems or IoT environment • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in a multidisciplinary environment • Experience building successful customer relationships with large or strategic customers • Expertise in scope management, scheduling, and budgeting for product development projects • Ability to lead business development efforts, including drafting proposals and customer interactions • Ability to drive organizational, product, customer, tool, process, and metric changes • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel • Excellent communication and leadership skills, including influencing stakeholders at all levels and C-suite • Ability to manage strategic customer relationships and serve as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders • PMP or PgMP strongly preferred • Experience with NetSuite SuiteProjects preferred • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulated development environments preferred • Experience in complex, highly technical internal engineering environments preferred • Valid work authorization in the United States at the time of application • Visa sponsorship is not provided
