📋 Description

• Analyze user behavior, logs, and alerts from NGAV/EDR, Firewall, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, and other technologies • Monitor, triage, and investigate SIEM alarms and client support requests • Assist with developing and tuning SIEM detection capabilities • Document and participate in Incident Response activities • Conduct regular vulnerability scans, analyze results, and suggest remediations • Report on security threats, metrics, and defense effectiveness to client audiences • Actively hunt for evidence of compromise across client environments • Provide actionable remediation guidance • Contribute to building a next-generation Security Operations Center

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity, risk management, security operations, network operations, or equivalent knowledge • Experience with SIEM and EDR tools for monitoring, detection, and response to potential security incidents • Proven experience investigating potential threats through proactive threat hunting or analyzing customer-reported tickets • Strong ability to triage events and identify real threats versus false positives • Proficiency in log analysis, interpreting system logs, and identifying root causes • Familiarity with threat intelligence • Understanding of network protocols and system vulnerabilities • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security frameworks, including ISO, NIST, PCI, and GDPR • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills • Effective communication skills and ability to document findings clearly and provide actionable recommendations • Resume and cover letter required • Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 10-hour night shifts, 7 PM–5 PM MST
