📋 Description

• Lead and oversee the design and development of engineering projects, ensuring that they meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives • Create and optimize product designs, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards and client specifications • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, product managers, and other engineers, to ensure seamless project execution • Implement and enforce quality control processes throughout the design and development phases • Identify and address engineering challenges, proposing creative and practical solutions to meet project objectives • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, and reports • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs, provide technical insights, and ensure their satisfaction with the final product • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the quality of designs and engineering services

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) • Professional Engineer (P.Eng., or PE) license • 5 years of proven experience in product design and engineering services, with a proven track record of successful project delivery • Proficiency in industry-standard design and analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, ANSYS, etc.) • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards • Applicants must be 18 years or older • Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a background check, where permitted by law • Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing may be required
