📋 Description

• Source and procure materials, components, equipment, and services to support production schedules and business operations. • Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and order status. • Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers to support quality, cost, and delivery objectives. • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages while minimizing excess inventory, working with the Spare Part Coordinator. • Collaborate with production, engineering, warehouse, and accounting teams to ensure purchasing activities align with operational needs. • Resolve purchasing discrepancies, invoice issues, shipping delays, and supplier concerns in a timely manner. • Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information within the ERP system. • Assist in obtaining competitive quotes and evaluating suppliers for quality, pricing, and service. • Support inventory counts, receiving activities, and material reconciliation as needed. • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency. • Abide by all policies and procedures established by DISA. • Attend and participate in all required safety training courses. • Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. • 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience preferred. • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred). • Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience is a plus. • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Experience using ERP or purchasing software systems. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. • Maintain professionalism with high attention to detail, reliability, accountability, and accuracy in all work deliverables. • Uphold and demonstrate DISA's Values of Dedication, Innovation, Sustainability, and Accelerate Change. • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA/MSHA and company safety standards. • Be a valid U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States. • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
