📋 Description

• Educate patients on financial obligations, including co-insurance, deductibles, and fees for various care levels • Review verification of benefits and patient responsibilities, addressing billing and fee inquiries • Track and manage recurring patient payments, issuing invoices and receipts • Maintain payment schedules and follow up on outstanding balances and authorized services • Follow up on declined transactions and resolve payment issues with patients • Prepare and process financial paperwork for new admissions and ongoing care programs • Scan, upload, and maintain financial records in KIPU/EHR systems • Provide financial documentation to third-party vendors • Collaborate with billing and internal teams to resolve billing issues and update accounts • Maintain metrics and patient financial data in Salesforce, KIPU, and other systems • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures • Support patients with financial inquiries, payment plans, and adjustments

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare finance, billing, or a similar patient-facing financial role • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach • Proficiency in financial systems and software such as KIPU, Salesforce, or similar tools • Familiarity with insurance verification, benefits coordination, and medical billing practices highly desirable • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm, with flexibility depending on business needs
