📋 Description

• Provide academic support for qualifying students and families through the schoolwide RTI program in a virtual schooling program • Implement and carry out RTI policies and procedures • Initiate, plan, and conduct regular parent/student meetings via technology platforms • Maintain complete student progress records and use data to inform instruction and recommendations • Consult with parents and guardians on evidence-based curricula, intervention programs, instructional strategies, accommodations, and modifications • Confer with parents, administrators, and professionals about referrals for special education evaluations • Work with people from diverse cultures or backgrounds • Complete daily and monthly reports • Respond to emails, texts, and phone calls daily • Track student and family data • Coordinate services with other school teams • Participate in professional development, in-service activities, meetings, and committees • Set and carry out annual goals • Contribute to continuous innovation in the distance learning program • Operate computers and office equipment and use varied computer software • Perform other assigned job-related duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Current State of Oregon Teaching License • Appropriate Oregon Department of Education endorsement for the assignment • TSPC Elementary-Multiple Subjects, TSPC Special Education: Generalist, or equivalent license endorsement • One year of successful teaching experience within the subject area or successful completion of an Oregon instructional internship program • Experience in RTI, special education, reading and/or math intervention preferred • Dedicated workspace free from distractions • Consistent and reliable high-speed internet access for teleconferencing • Operational knowledge of the Internet and related technologies • Ability to pass a background check • Obtain First Aid/CPR certification • Must live in the state of Oregon
