📋 Description

• Oversee all aspects of large-scale, complex Electronic Security Systems (ESS) projects from initiation through closure, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction • Lead delivery of physical security systems by managing implementation, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and quality standards • Provide project management oversight and direct control of cost, quality, schedule, and project management activities • Oversee internal and external stakeholders and align cross-functional teams • Act as the primary client interface; manage client relationships, expectations, communications, and satisfaction • Deliver and integrate CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection alarms, and perimeter security solutions • Apply knowledge of construction sequencing to identify, qualify, quantify, and communicate construction-related risks • Collaborate in design reviews and support accurate field documentation • Develop schedules, establish project baselines, identify deviations, and communicate impacts to clients • Coordinate field verification of prospective work sites, quality control compliance, site readiness, and documentation of site conditions • Monitor project budgets, costs, margins, financial risks, and corrective actions to maintain profitability • Identify customer concerns and provide solutions to clients and internal stakeholders • Support team members with problem-solving, task assistance, and resource coordination • Partner with the site supervisor to establish and drive the project work plan and schedule • Coordinate stakeholder activities for system programming and final checkout • Coordinate security-system commissioning, including planning, execution, testing, documentation, operational verification, and client handover • Develop and manage punch lists after substantial completion and resolve outstanding tasks for closeout • Facilitate project turnover and training sessions with clients and the service team • Travel frequently by car and occasionally by airplane; local travel to client sites typically comprises 70–90% of time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades and settings or experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) • Proven ability to follow repeatable processes and participate in Constant Process Improvement (CPI) • Experience driving and delivering waterfall schedules to a fixed delivery date while monitoring and controlling projects for quality and profitability • Experience in a client-facing role with a pleasant professional demeanor • Strong technical abilities and ability to learn new technologies quickly • Experience working with or working for Enterprise-level clients • Understanding of when and how to implement Agile methodologies within a waterfall program • Solid understanding of PMP methodologies and best practices • Travel up to 25% of the time is required • Must possess a valid driver’s license in their state of residence • Ability to work on construction sites, spend at least 40% of time on feet, occasionally climb ladders, use stairs, lift or move materials up to 20 pounds, and use keyboards, test equipment, and controls • Ability to comply with job-site safety regulations • Preferred: Project Management experience with large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program • Preferred: Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) • Preferred: Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) • Preferred: PMP certification from the Project Management Institute
