📋 Description

• Own the scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction of broadcast projects throughout their lifecycle • Oversee and perform project management functions for broadcast projects, budgets, and scopes • Act as the responsible person with direct control over assigned project activities • Manage project communications, schedules, task lists, consulting-team deliverables, and project completion • Complete consulting projects on time, on budget, and to high customer-satisfaction levels • Improve established Diversified project processes • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, including expectations, communications, and satisfaction • Provide leadership and ownership for projects within Diversified • Coordinate stakeholders, delegate responsibilities, and run client and internal project meetings • Support team members and ensure frequent stakeholder communication • Resolve destructive conflict • Design, plan, and coordinate work teams for Media and Entertainment consulting projects • Establish communication with Account Executives, Directors, consultants, subject matter experts, and clients • Develop and communicate project updates • Monitor labor budgets, project costs, timing, staffing, and profitability • Provide or direct technical and administrative support to project team members • Maintain project schedules and coordinate deliverable documentation • Facilitate document reviews and provide punch lists after substantial completion • Contract with contractors when necessary • Ensure quality and continuous improvement • Coordinate project transitions to later-phase project teams • Report project financials and ensure timely, correct client billing • Communicate decision options to stakeholders and manage project decisions • Conduct safety walk-throughs, incident investigations, and safety paperwork for client site visits

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a project manager in media technology projects, especially in consulting • 5+ years of experience managing complex broadcast infrastructures/projects ($10–30M), matrix managing more than 6 professionals, and fiscal management of more than $1M in assigned annual budgets • Knowledge of broadcast operations and technologies • Comfort with hardware- and software-based solutions • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Supervisory and people skills • Ability to manage design/build projects for the Media business unit • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political, and people-related problems • Knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment, facilities, and production systems • Knowledge of high-definition, UHD, and HDR video systems using analog, SDI, and SMPTE 2110 IP transport protocols • Understanding of TCP/IP routing, ACLs, QoS, VLANs, and wireless access points • Proven track record of successfully completing engineering projects • Understanding of project phases including Program, Conceptualization, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction, and Commissioning • Demonstrable understanding of consulting processes including discovery, business analysis, gap analysis, workflow documentation, conceptual system diagrams, roadmaps, presentations, and written narratives • Awareness of systems integration, architectural drawings, construction drawings, and specifications • Detailed-oriented, independent, self-starter • Exceptional time management skills and track record of meeting deadlines • Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate concise messages • High-level problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills • Valid driver's license in the state of residence • SPMP certification from the Project Management Institute is desired • Other relevant certifications, including Certified Scrum Master, may be required or preferred based on the technology focus
