📋 Description

• Perform basic engineering work and design tasks under a senior engineer's supervision • Perform standard computations and analysis • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and pressure-drop calculations • Use AutoCAD and Revit to prepare drawings and visual aids • Assist with reviewing and creating drawing details, schedules, sequences of operations, and drawing content • Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports • Collect data and information for construction documents • Prepare project design and construction documents • Review and edit project specifications • Review long-lead equipment and its impact on design conditions • Work with the engineering team and interact with the project management team • Assist with construction administration tracking, including submittals and RFIs • Review shop drawings and submittals • Review and respond to RFIs • Assist with punch lists and project closeout documents • Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders • Provide status updates on work products • Leverage AI-enabled and digital tools to improve efficiency and quality • Identify process improvements and support adoption of emerging technologies and digital workflows • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget • Project Management Track: assist Project Managers with routine project coordination, action items, schedules, milestones, project files, stakeholder follow-up, QA/QC, and compilation of work products

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution • Sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals • Beginner-level knowledge of engineering principles • Beginner-level knowledge of codes and specifications for design and engineering • Skilled in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams • Exceptional organizational and file-management skills • Ability to complete assignments accurately and with attention to detail • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize processes • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment • Effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness • Ability to work in a distraction-free workspace • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence • Effective oral and written communication of technical and non-technical information • Ability to work independently with supervision and as part of a team • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Required attendance and active participation in week-long in-person onboarding and training • Ability to travel up to 10% to client sites, meetings, conferences, and other business activities • Valid REAL ID or acceptable alternative, such as a passport, for domestic air travel associated with the position
